Incentive My ASS

Ok, so when I hear incentive plans I think of positive plans like the following ::

If you go error free for a pay period then you get a 10% bonus on your paycheck.

Can you imagine the impact that would have on errors? Errors cost a company thousands every week so why not save the image of the company to the customer and it's employees and still spend that money however put it in the hard working employees that make the business run?

Large companies like the one is question, naming no names but...... Artco in Rexburg Idaho. haha.. have a hard time realizing this because they presume that they know what they are doing. Heck they hold degrees right? STUPID. I don't have a degree and I own a very successful company that will most likely profit more than Artco does. Why is this? Because I know what my target market wants (artco doesn't) and I know that the people that work with me are talented and I want them to know that so I give the INCENTIVES, but GOOD incentives.

With little to no money after being fired from Artco I started creating a program for the trucking industry. It's now the #1 program of it's type for big rigs and is quickly gaining on Fuelly with the soon to be released automobile feature. Now let's take NOVATUS (or however they are spelling it this year). They have a multi million dollar budget for this and is it done yet? Or should I say done correctly? You tell me. I know when I was there it was still being worked on and heck they had been working on it for years and years. This isn't the fault of the I.T., this is the fault of management that can't make up their minds. Here is the simple path that leads to success.

MAKE A PLAN - - - STICK TO THE PLAN - - - SUCCEED

I guess I should go back to working on my business. Stay strong and keep venting. I miss you guys. It was always fun taking breaks and getting to know everyone. Let's stay in touch.
